Sedatives and Antidepressant Drugs

Sedatives are not antidepressant drugs. Similarly, antianxiety drugs are also not antidepressant drugs. They are not effective in curing depressive illness. But sedatives and antianxiety drugs are sometimes prescribed along with antidepressant drugs.
